Apostle Paul: Marketing Guru

I read an interview with author and journalist Robert Wright about his new book “The Evolution of God” in the New York times May 31 issue. The book discuss the Apostle Paul as a marketing guru, who dropped the more demanding requirements of Judaism to attract more followers. Circumcision, dietary restrictions, who needs em! Wright says the results are obvious, “do the math, how many Christians are there today? How many Jews?” Wright pointed out that “institutions thrive where they can serve the interests of a bunch of people”. And I would point out a bunch of association members. And the requirements that might keep people out of your association? Have you reviewed your membership requirements or restrictions lately? Is there an audience waiting for the opportunity to join your organization?
